Battery Storage:Use Your Solar After Dark

Without a battery, the power your panels make at midday goes to the grid and you buy it back at night. A battery keeps it.

Why a battery

Get far more valuefrom every panel

Solar generates when the sun is up. Most households use the most power in the evening. A battery bridges that gap, so your own generation covers your own peak instead of being sold cheaply and bought back dearly.

  • Store daytime solar and use it in the evening
  • Reduce how much you draw from the grid at peak rates
  • Backup power for essential circuits in many homes when the grid goes down
  • Sized to your household's actual evening load, not a default number

Common questions

Battery storage, answered

It depends on the battery, your switchboard and what you want running. Most setups back up essential circuits rather than everything at once. We will tell you honestly what yours would cover before you commit.

Often yes. It depends on your existing inverter: some can take a battery directly, others need an additional unit. We will assess what you have and give you the real options.

That comes from your evening usage, not a rule of thumb. We look at your actual consumption and size it so you are not paying for capacity you will never cycle.

Very little day to day. They are monitored, so we can see how yours is performing, and manufacturer warranties cover the hardware.
